We are happy to announce a new set of updates that will increase information accuracy and simplify the process of requesting new or updated user access to CargoValue.

ETA Forecast in the Vessel Popup
In the Vessel Popup you will find a forecast of the ETA to the next scheduled port. This enables higher information accuracy and helps in identifying obstacles to your line-up or other dependencies.
This is based on:

Vessel's current position (from AIS)

Vessel's current speed (from AIS)
-
The next port (from CV shipment information)
-
Distance between the current position and the next port
If any of this information is missing or incorrect, we cannot show the Forecast ETA, or it will be blank.
We also made a small change to the design by dividing Load and Discharge ports and ETAs.

Suggested Port Call Timestamps
On confirming a port call (load/discharge), you will now see timestamp suggestions for:

Time of Arrival

Time of Berthing
-
Time of Departure
This data is based on AIS signals received when the vessel arrived at the port, berthed, and departed from the port.
You can select whether to use one, two, or all three of these timestamps to update your port call times or keep your original timestamps.
A vessel must be nominated to a shipment in order for us to collect and display this data.

Request any user access change in the updated Support widget in CargoValue

The updated Support widget in CargoValue will help you, as a user, to request any user access update, and it will help us to make any access request change as quickly as possible.
This additional option in the Support button is Request to add, update or remove user(s). Once you click it, you will have three options to choose from:

Request to add new user(s)

Update user access rights

Remove user
When requesting to add user(s), you will need to create and attach an excel spreadsheet with the following information: Full name, Email, Role or Job title, Access rights including ports/terminals, materials and EDIT/VIEW, and/or analytics dashboards.
Once our Support team receives your request, they will solve the request within 24 hours.
