How it works

Mastering the Blending for Consumption feature in CargoValue is straightforward and involves a few key steps:  

1. Create an Aggregated Inventory: Start by establishing an aggregated inventory for your blend materials. This is the foundational step where you compile all the necessary materials into one manageable inventory.  

2. Activate blending mode: Next, within the inventory details, activate the Blending mode by checking a specific box. This crucial step changes the table layout to display essential data such as stock levels, material composition percentages, and consumption forecasts for both the entire blend and its individual components. 

3. Make adjustments to the blend: To tailor the blend to your specific needs, select the relevant dates and right-click to access the 'Edit percentages' function. This allows you to modify the blend's composition, adjust the total consumption, and set specific date ranges for these changes.  

4. Review and save changes: After adjusting the blend parameters, take a moment to review your changes. Once satisfied, save them. The system will automatically recalculate and update the blend's component consumption and stock levels based on your inputs.   

5. Integration across CargoValue: Finally, these updates are integrated across the entire CargoValue platform. This ensures a cohesive and efficient inventory management experience, aligning the new blend data with other functionalities within CargoValue.
