We improved the Vessel Watchlist in the Shipment module, enhancing your watchlist management experience
We added streamlined access to vessel particulars from the Shipment map pop up
We updated colors in maps and added map legends to improve clarity
New table functionality in Port Insights
This upgrade brings several new functionalities in Port Insights, similar to the Shipment/Inventory modules, ensuring a consistent and seamless user experience across our platform.
Here are the key improvements:
Export Functionality enables users to export the table data to various file formats, such as CSV or Excel.
Copy Functionality allows users to easily copy selected rows or cells from the table and paste them into other documents or applications.
Column Resizing helps users resize columns according to your preferences. They can now optimize the table layout and display the information in a way that is most convenient for them.
Vessel Watchlist Improvements
To improve watchlist management, such as turning on/off watchlists and reducing the chance of errors (adding vessels to the wrong watchlists), we added the following to Vessel Watchlist:
Select All / Clear All: We understand that manually selecting or deselecting multiple watchlists can be time-consuming and inconvenient, especially when users have many watchlists. To address this, we have introduced a new feature that allows users to quickly add or remove all watchlists at once with a single click. With the "Select All" and "Clear All" options, users can now manage their watchlists more efficiently and effortlessly.
Watchlist Name Visibility: We have also enhanced the watchlist editing process. When adding or removing vessels from a watchlist, it is essential to clearly understand which watchlist users are working on to minimize the chances of errors or vessels being added to the wrong watchlists. As a result, we have incorporated the display of the watchlist name during the editing process. This improvement will help users stay organized and ensure accurate vessel management within their watchlists.
Link to vessel particulars from Shipment Map pop up to Port Insights
Toggling between Shipments and Port Insights to gather comprehensive vessel details, such as previous ports and other relevant information, can be time-consuming and disruptive to the workflow of users.
Therefore, we have introduced a direct link from the Shipment pop-up in the Shipment Map to Port Insights. By simply clicking on the vessel name in the pop-up, they will now be seamlessly redirected to Port Insights in a new tab in their browser, where they can access all the vessel particulars you require.
Colors in Shipment and Port Insights map and map legends
We have updated the vessel colors in the map within the Shipment module and Port Insights to eliminate confusion and improve visual distinction. This differentiation will enable users to quickly and accurately identify vessel statuses and vessel movements.
In addition to the vessel color changes, we have also implemented a color legend that will provide clear explanations for the color-coding of vessels and ports across both the Shipments Map and Port Insights.
